Mango Pina Colada
Ingredients
1 cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt
¾ cup frozen pineapple
¾ cup frozen mango
½ cup "lite" coconut milk (see Tip)
Unsweetened coconut flakes for garnish
Directions
Combine yogurt, pineapple, mango and coconut milk in a blender.
Puree until smooth. Garnish with coconut flakes.
Apple Kiwi Green Smoothie
Ingredients
1 banana, peeled
1 large green apple, cored and chopped (keep the skins for extra fiber)
3 kiwis, peeled and cubed
1 cup unsweetened yogurt*
1 cup water
2 cups spinach
Directions
In a blender, add the ingredients in order and blend until smooth
Watermelon Smoothie
Ingredients
¼ watermelon
250 grams of strawberries
Two bananas
A lime
Eight tablespoons of yogurt
Directions
Cut the flesh of the watermelon from the rind and then cut it into
cubes. Place the watermelon cubes in a blender.
Raspberry Almond Butter Smoothie
Ingredients
1 Banana
1 Cup Frozen Raspberries
3/4 Cup Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
1 TBS Chia Seeds
½ Almond Butter Perfect Bar
1 tsp Almond Extract
3 ice cubes
Blueberry & Granola Topping (Optional)
Directions
Add the ingredients to a blender and blend thoroughly.
Top with your favorite granola.
Orange and Ginger Recovery Smoothie
Ingredients
2 large seedless navel oranges
1/2 lemon juiced
1 cm knob ginger peeled
2-4 ice cubes
1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional
Directions
Peel and roughly chop the navel oranges; don't worry about removing the white
membrane. Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Add
as many ice cubes as you need to get the consistency you desire.
Key Lime Pie Protein Smoothie
Ingredients
2 scoops vanilla protein powder 1 cup unsweetened almond milk 1 frozen banana 1 tablespoon key lime juice Zest of one key lime 1/2 teaspoon maple syrup 1 cup ice cubes 1 tablespoon nonfat plain Greek yogurt 1 tablespoon crushed graham crackers
Directions
In a blender, mix protein powder, almond milk, frozen banana, key lime juice, maple syrup
and ice until smooth. Top with a dollop of yogurt and graham cracker crumbs.
